Art Hacker Gallery is thrilled to invite artists to participate in our first annual Juried Publication and Group Exhibition entitle Edition 2023! This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your work and gain recognition in the vibrant Los Angeles based art community and beyond. As an independent publisher we are excited to curate a diverse selection of works.

With the corporatization of the mega gallery system, Art Hacker Gallery strives to subvert the traditional system and unshackle the chains of the art world! Join us be part of the movement as we celebrate all the amazing artists that feel forgotten and lost. We are here for you to write a new narrative, because at the end of the day the only rules of art are the ones we fall victim to!

Submission Guidelines:

Theme: Open to all styles and mediums; we encourage innovative and boundary-pushing artworks.

Submission Deadline: December 31st, 2023

Eligibility: The competition is open to all artists, national and international, working in all media. All forms of painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, graphics, digital and installation art, video, etc. are eligible. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. We welcome and encourage submissions from a artists at all career levels. Artist will be responsible for shipping costs if selected for group show.

Prizes and Opportunities:

Publication in “Art Hacker Gallery Edition 2023” Art Book:

Winners will be featured in the first edition of our exclusive, linen wrapped, 12x10, annual, hardcover art book which will available in person at our gallery and through all other online sales channels, gaining exposure to a broader audience while adding to the selected artists resume for future endeavors.

Inclusion in the 2024 Group Show:

Select winners will have the honor of being part of a curated group exhibition in the early months of 2024, providing an excellent platform for networking and visibility.

Limited Edition Print Opportunity:

Art Hacker Gallery is excited to offer select winners the chance to produce a limited edition run of signed prints through our gallery. These prints will be professionally produced and distributed by Art Hacker Gallery, allowing artists to reach a wider audience.

*All exhibition prints will be kept in a flat file after the show for future sale and promotion for the artist. This will allow the gallery to further promote our artists and their work, we don’t choose art merely on their merit but as works we want to champion for.  All rights and ownership of artwork will remain of the artist, artist agrees that Art Hacker Gallery will be the exclusive retailer of the particular print while the agreement is active.  

Entry Fee:

A non-refundable entry fee of $20 is required per submission. This fee helps support our commitment to promoting and showcasing emerging and established artists.

A fixed small fee is applicable to selected artists only.
